Erica Arvold, CSA, arvold.
Erica Arvold, CSA is a casting director, producer and educator. Over the past 28 years, Erica has contributed to, participated in or helmed the making of over 130 films, 80 television shows and many multimedia & commercial projects. Past credits include Loving, TURN: Washington’s Spies and House of Cards. As an educator, Erica travels across the country to speak at film festivals, universities and schools and frequently leads master classes for film artists. Erica is a member of the Casting Society of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She is grateful to the many writers, filmmakers and actors who have entrusted her to collaborate over the years.
Laina Burgess, Stilwell Casting
Laina Burgess had her first audition ever at Stilwell Casting at the age of 12. She spent the next several years training as an actress in Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles. While studying screenwriting and directing at Georgia State University, she found her way back to Stilwell Casting as an intern. After graduating in 2015, she began working full time, and is now a casting director.
Mitzi Corrigan, Casting Director Corrigan & Johnston
Mitzi currently co-owns Corrigan & Johnston Casting, Inc. with her partner, Paige Johnston Thomas. As casting directors, they work with production companies and ad agencies throughout the U.S., casting talent for commercials, films and industrials. Most recent films cast by C&J include, Ashby starring Mickey Rourke, Sarah Silverman, Emma Roberts and Nat Wolfe and The Taking of Deborah Logan starring Jill Larson and Anne Ramsay.
Mitzi worked as a free lance script/continuity supervisor. She served as the Production Manager for the Charlotte Repertory theater for eight years and was also the Production Coordinator for the Performing Arts Center in Charlotte when it first opened. Mitzi has a love for the theater and will always be an actor at heart. She was a founding member of the Charlotte Shakespeare Company and has acted in, directed, and stage managed numerous productions both in Charlotte and New York City where she studied under Uta Hagen at HB Studios. She also worked as stage manager with Herbert Bergoff with the New Playwrights Foundation in NYC.
Paige Johnston-Thomas, C& J Casting
As Co-Owner and Casting Director at C&J Casting, some of Paige’s clients include local and national companies such as Harris Teeter, Target, Coke, Planters Peanuts, Fiat, Subway and NASCAR. She received her Masters in Fine Arts at UNC-Chapel Hill, and has performed as an actor in countless plays. Her career in TV production started in New York where she worked at Emerald Films, a successful Video production company. In addition to her years as a Casting Director, she is also a theatre director, having worked with Carolina Actors Studio Theatre and Theatre Charlotte. Also, in an effort to keep the local talent viable and competitive, she has taught and mentored thousands of students through Acting and Auditioning workshops held through C&J Casting, Talent Agents and Acting Studios throughout the Southeast.
